For the 2007 season, the BRSCC Club Formula Ford Championship (North West) was sponsored by Carphone Warehouse Networks and therefore titled Carphone Warehouse Networks Club FF NW.
WeMoveCars have again been proud to sponsor Lee Hannam as he competed in class C, D & E for cars constructed before 1990. Lee was run by MedinaSport whilst competing in his Reynard 88FF chassis. The car has been prepared to a consistently high standard by John Leobell and this has definitely shown in the results achieved this year. Lee finished the season in 3rd place in both the overall championship and class C, (in class C he was tied on points with Stuart Jones however Stuart takes 2nd place by virtue of having won more races).
Highlights of the season include 1 pole, 5 front row starts and 7 podiums. During the season, Lee finally took that elusive 1st race win; not suggesting he was chuffed to bits but rumour has it that he slept in his race suit and crash helmet that night... 3rd place in the championships is a big improvement over the 7th achieved in the 2006 season. The win at Anglesey also helped to secure second place in the Star of Anglesey series. Lee’s full calendar along with results can be seen below.
